2.1 For All Users:
Personal Details: Phone number (required for verification), email address, and name.
Device Information: OS version, device model, and unique identifiers.
Communication Data: Support queries and feedback shared with us.
2.2 For Riders (User App):
Location Data: Current location for pickup/drop-off and real-time tracking during active rides.
Ride History: Records of past trips, routes, and billing information.
Payment Details: Processed securely through Razorpay; we do not store full credit/debit card numbers.
2.3 For Driver Partners (Driver App):
Professional Documentation: Driver's license, vehicle registration, insurance documents, and IDs for verification.
Location Data: Real-time tracking while Online, including Background Location when the app is minimized to ensure accurate fare calculation and safety.
Financial Data: Bank account details for processing earnings payouts.
Performance Metrics: Ratings, acceptance rates, and completion statistics.
3. LOCATION DATA USAGE
3.1 Riders:
We use your location to establish pickup points, show nearby drivers, and update your ride progress.
3.2 Driver Partners (CRITICAL)
We collect location data in the BACKGROUND when the app is minimized but you are "Online." This is necessary to:
Ensure real-time location updates for passengers and the platform while a ride is active, even if you are using another navigation app (like Google Maps).
Provide continuous tracking and accurate fare calculation when the driver app is in the background.
Match you with nearby passengers effectively.
We do NOT track your location when you are "Offline."
4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
Service Delivery: Matching riders with drivers and providing navigation.
Fare Calculation: Using GPS data to calculate accurate trip costs.
Safety & Verification: Verifying IDs and monitoring trip safety.
Payouts: Processing payments to driver partners and invoices to riders.
Support: Resolving disputes and providing customer service.
5. DATA SHARING & THIRD PARTIES
We share necessary data with:
Other Users: Riders see Driver name/photo/location; Drivers see Rider name/location.
Supabase: Our secure backend and authentication provider.
Google Maps: For geolocation, maps, and route optimization.
Razorpay: For secure payment processing and earnings payouts.
Legal Authorities: When required by law or for safety investigations.
6. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
We retain data for as long as your account is active or as required by law.
Financial details are handled by PCI-compliant partners (Razorpay).
